LAS VEGAS–The World Market Center has promised to provide travel discounts and preferential rates for attendees to September’s Las Vegas Market.
The trade-show center said in a statement that it has negotiated 25 hotel offerings for rates as low as $29 a night, and as low as $120 a night for some of the city’s more upscale resorts. It has also arranged for discounts with airlines for trips to the market. The rates can be found on the convention center’s Web site, LasVegasMarket.com.
Robert Maricich, president and chief executive officer of the World Market Center, said, “The changing economy has led to many attendees putting a new emphasis on getting more value for their dollar, whether they’re spending it on essentials or air travel and hotel packages. People are more value conscious, and we’re ensuring we provide that experience.”
