LAS VEGAS–The World Market Center has scheduled “Passport to Glamour,” an event designed to highlight the luxury home-furnishings market, for Nov. 13.
To take place at the market center’s Las Vegas Design Center, the day-long event includes seminars geared to provide insight to attendees on capturing the luxury market. In addition, many of the Design Center’s tenants will showcase luxury products in their showrooms. Also on the schedule is a lunch in which the editors of Western Interiors & Design will discuss what they look for and what they avoid in publishing home designs.
Steve Nobel, chairman of the Luxury Home Alliance and a featured speaker at the event, said in a statement that the luxury market “has the most potential for growth because affluent consumers ... are the most certain that their desire to live well transcends the uncertainty of the economy.”
