LAS VEGAS—The World Market Center will present a series of seminars on eco-friendly issues in home furnishings called “One Good World” during the upcoming Las Vegas Market, Aug. 2-6.
Among the sessions on the schedule is “Eco Friendly from the Foundation to the Furniture, to take place on Aug. 2 from 2 to 3 p.m. in room 176 of Building C. Designer Robin Wilson will highlight several residential products with eco-friendly design.
Also on the schedule are four briefings by the Specialty Sleep Association, titled “SSA Helps Retailers Sell Mattresses by Addressing Consumer Safety & Environmental Concerns,” on Aug. 2, 3 and 4 at multiple times in room 1350 of Building C.
In “DESIGNINGreen,” on Aug. 3 from 3 to 4 p.m. in the World Forum on the 16th floor of Building B, designers Robin Wilson and Barry Dixon, and HGTV’s Monica Pedersen and Luxe magazine’s Jennifer Matthews will discuss sustainability issues in the home furnishings industry. GREENleaders, on Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in room 424 of Building C, will provide a sustainability training program in eco-friendly home furnishings.
