DELRAY BEACH, Fla.–Twin-Star International is launching a volunteer program giving its employees up to eight hours of paid time off per year to perform volunteer service for a Twin-Star-approved charity.
“It is our responsibility as a good corporate citizen to help strengthen the communities in which we work and live,” said Twin-Star International’s Vice President of Corporate Operations Denise Kantrowitz. “We encourage our staff to become involved in their communities by lending their voluntary support to programs that enrich the quality of life and opportunities for all citizens. Our new volunteer program will not only provide support for the community but will also foster employee collaboration and team building, enrich their lives and impact the morale and culture of Twin-Star in a very positive way.”
Recently Twin-Star, known for its Classic Flame electric fireplaces and Duraflame heaters, celebrated October Fire Safety Month by having employees organize a Fire Safety Day at the Milagro Center, an arts and education school for children in Delray Beach, Fla.
