NEW YORK–The New York Design Center will host its fourth annual Masquerade Ball this Thursday, Oct. 29, as the NYDC lobby and 11th floor will be transformed into a 1930s tinsel movie musical created by The Alpha Workshops, the event’s benefiting organization.
Called “C’mon Get Happy,” the ball will have a night of music, dancing, food, as well as a photo booth and tarot card reader. Guests are encouraged to wear whatever makes them happy.
“The Masquerade Ball is a rare opportunity for the design industry to join together for a fun filled evening while raising much needed funds for The Alpha Workshops, a charitable organization rooted in design,” said Jim Druckman, president/chief executive officer, NYDC. “This year more than ever, we appreciate the generous contributions from our friends in the design community who continue to support the Masquerade Ball.”
Tickets are $150 at the door, or, new this year, $250 for special VIP tickets.
