NORWALK, Conn.–Lillian August has signed a new partnership deal with manufacturer Hickory White to introduce Lillian August case goods and upholstery collections at the October High Point Market. The furniture lines previously had been made by Drexel Heritage.
Hickory White, part of the 60-year old Sherrill Furniture Co., will present a complete product offering in its showroom, covering Lillian August’s traditional European styling as well as expanded design directions, the details of which were not released.
“The Lillian August brand is known for both product design and retail expertise, and Hickory White has long been recognized for the craft of the skilled artisans that make our furniture,” Charles Coffey, sales and marketing manager for Sherrill Furniture, said in a statement. The upholstery collection will be manufactured in the United States, while the case goods will be a blend of fully custom domestic and imported product, he added. “We are confident that this dynamic partnership will enable us to expand the Lillian August lifestyle presentation and product offerings for our retailers.”
