DALLAS-Designer Amy Howard will present an environmentally friendly approach to furniture refurbishment during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market later this month. Howard will speak on Friday, June 21, at 4 p.m. in the World Trade Center Hall of Nations.
Howard currently owns and manages Artisan Studios, in Memphis, Tenn., where the Amy Howard Collection of more than 300 artisan-crafted pieces is produced. Amy Howard at Home focuses on updating and refreshing tired furniture that would otherwise be discarded. The line, which is shown in Codarus, WTC 5-546, features finishes that range from one-step paints to Venetian plasters, and mirror antiquing kits to watermark specking.
The Dallas Total Home & Gift Market takes place June 19-25.
