CHICAGO–Trends in Design—Beyond 2009, a seminar sponsored by Garden Design magazine, is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 24, during the upcoming International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market.
Moderated by Sarah Kinbar, Garden Design’s editor-in-chief, the seminar will feature insights from Gina Wicker, design and creative director for Glen Raven Custom Fabrics; Bill Markowitz, president of Veneman Group; and on Eberly, president and chief executive officer of Eberly & Collard Public Relations. The seminar will detail the major trends in exterior home decor, including the latest in furniture designs and styles, fabric trends, paint colors and finishes, and plant and floral pairings. The panel will also discuss the influence of the “green” movement on homeowners’ exterior-furnishings choices.
The Casual Market is scheduled for Sept. 21-24 at the Merchandise Mart.
