HIGH POINT, N.C.–Three seating sources—Aeon, Fornirama and Bracci—will show for the first time in the IHFC’s Design Center at the Oct. 19-24 High Point Market.
Aeon, an importer of European and Scandinavian-inspired modern classics, will exhibit in a 1,000 square-foot showroom in Space 737 of the Design Center. Founded in 2011, the company specializes in dining sets, dining chairs, sofas and sectionals, stools and tables. It carries in-stock inventory on more than 100 best-selling items at its 30,000 square-foot headquarters and warehouse in Fairfield, N.J., shipping orders within 48 hours.
“We’re ready to expand our sales with a larger group of retailers,” said Bruce Greenberg, Aeon sales manager. “We offer a high-quality product at a great price, and our ability to customize gives us an edge.”
Fornirama, a Montreal-based upholstery specialist, also is showing at the High Point Market for this first time next month. The company is exhibiting in a 1,965 square-foot space in Space 1110 of the Design Center. Introductions include additions to a new line of contemporary sofas and chairs created by fashion designer Jean Claude Poitras.
“We are very excited about our upcoming showing in High Point,” said Joe Morabito, Fornirama’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Having a showroom in the Design Center will give us a strong platform for reaching out to a new group of U.S retailers.”
Also showing in a permanent Design Center showroom this market is Bracci, a new company specializing in middle- and upper-end Italian leather seating in modern and contemporary styling. Bracci was launched this spring by Mauro Bracciale, a 20-year veteran of the leather upholstery business. The company is showing in a 4,000 square-foot showroom in Space 850 of the Design Center.
“We chose the Design Center because it attracts all the leading contemporary retailers, which is our target market,” said Bracciale. “Being in this wing of the IHFC will make it very easy for retailers to shop our line.”
