GREENEVILLE, Tenn.–Meco Corp., which specializes in folding furniture and outdoor grills, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year with 50 products “that reach out to today’s consumer,” according to the company.
The assortment includes decorative folding furniture as well as barbecue grills.
Founded in 1959 as Metals Engineering Co., today Meco features the Samsonite, SuddenComfort, SuddenSolution and Innobella brands in furniture and the Aussie brand of grills. It is now a division of Unaka Corp.
Commenting on the next 50 years, Harrell Ward, president, said, “We are committed to growing both our furniture and grill businesses through innovation, acquisitions and partnerships that help us deliver much needed revenue to our retail customers.”
