ATLANTA–Wools of New Zealand held its annual Fashion Dynamics competition at the recently completed Surfaces, where retailers were able to see and vote on 36 Wools of New Zealand and Laneve-branded products.
Judging took place over a two-day period at the show, and awards were presented to the first- and second-place winners.
In the best overall Wools of New Zealand brand carpet category, the Monaco collection by Nourison won first place while Stanton’s North Shore was second. In the best overall Laneve brand carpet category, the winner was Sonoran by Decorative Carpets, followed by Dartmouth by Prestige. Mini Squares by Hagaman received the top prize in the best color line Wool of New Zealand brand carpet category, and Latisse by Nourison came in second. And in the best color line Laneve brand carpet category, J. Mish’s Matrix placed first, followed by Masland’s Baroque.
“We are honored to win awards in two categories,” said Alex Peykar, president of Nourison. “This recognition speaks to the creative talents of our design team and their ability to meet retailers’ styling and colors needs. We are grateful to Wools of New Zealand for generating interest in our introductions and appreciate retailers’ votes.”
