NEW YORK–The New York Design Center, the showroom building at 200 Lexington Avenue, is holding its first-ever building-wide event tomorrow, showcasing hundreds of new product introductions from nearly 100 participating showrooms.
The multi-faceted event, What’s New, What’s Next @ 200 Lex, is set for 2-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, and will also feature designer presentations, book signings and editors from some of the industry’s leading shelter magazines, including Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House Beautiful and Metropolitan Home. Among the designers on hand will be Ted Boerner, Kirk Brummel, Mariette Himes Gomez, Jiun Ho and Vladimir Kagan.
According to James Druckman, president of the NYDC, the building is returning to its roots, “reclaiming itself as THE place to introduce new products” for the upper end of the furniture and furnishings market. A full list of all the events at the building is at www.nydc.com
