SYOSSET, N.Y.–Stanton Carpet Corp. has named two executives to new posts: Barbara Skelly as director of marketing, and Frank Boucek as Midwestern regional vice president.
Responsible for all strategic and tactical marketing areas, including advertising, public relations, sales promotion and trade shows, Skelly was previously at Designtex, a division of Steelcase. She has also been at F. Schumacher & Co., Imperial Home Decor Group and Maharam Textiles.
“We are very pleased to have Barbara join our team, her substantial background will enable Stanton’s marketing efforts to jump to the next level,” said Jonathan Cohen, chief operating officer. “Her expertise in this area will be instrumental as Stanton continues to aggressively move forward with key growth initiatives.”
Reporting to George Forte, vice president of sales, Boucek will oversee all sales representatives’ activities for 13 states in the Midwest region. Previously at Beaulieu of America, where he was regional/territory manager for the past eight years, Boucek has also worked at Mohawk Industries, Image Carpet Mills and Galaxy Carpet Mills. He takes over the territory previously managed by Jim Lampros.
