DALTON, Ga.–Sphinx by Oriental Weavers will debut its new reversible pile rug line at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market next month.
The Options and Options Sylk collections are hand-tufted wool rugs in an assortment of styles and textures. Each rug comes with designs on either side. Both lines will only be sold through Sphinx retailers and not online, and they will be supported by a national advertising campaign.
“For years many consumers have changed their decor from season to season,” said Michael Riley, president, Oriental Weavers USA. “Whether it is rugs, pillows, or other accessories, people like to make decorating changes to their home. We have made transforming your decor simple by introducing the world’s first truly reversible hand-tufted rug.”
The Options wool line will retail for $599 for a 5-by-8, while the Options Sylk group, which has viscose, will retail for $799 for a 5-by-8.
