HIGH POINT, N.C.–High Point Market opens today with thousands of items to be introduced in product categories including furniture, rugs, home decor, lighting and more.

The North Carolina town will enjoy some star power this time around, with Martha Stewart and Priscilla Presley scheduled to make appearances. Stewart is celebrating the launch of Martha Stewart Fine Furniture at the ML Brands International showroom at 4 p.m. today (Saturday, April 21). Presley will appear for a meet and greet reception for the Priscilla Presley Home Collection at the HStudio Showroom (IHFC Main-Interhall Space IH607) on Sunday, April 22, 3:30 p.m.

Surya will kick off its new 26,000-square-foot showroom at Showplace 4100, Surya with a party on Sunday at 6 p.m.

Other highly anticipated introductions include the HGTV Furniture collection from Bassett. Currey & Company, best known for its lighting and furniture, enters the floor-covering category with a collection of handmade rugs. Nourison is expanding its Joseph Abboud offerings to include decorative pillows.
