DALTON, Ga.–Mohawk has found a celebrity spokesman in Chip Wade, carpenter and project manager on the Atlanta edition of HGTV’s “Designed to Sell.”
The company said Wade’s expertise as a professional carpenter and home remodeling contractor was the perfect fit for its vision of a spokesman. On “Designed to Sell,” Wade works with a team to perform a three-room makeover in just a few days. For Mohawk, he will help explain flooring innovations and their value to consumers.
Among Wade’s initial projects with the company are interactive presentations on both Mohawk’s renewably sourced SmartStrand carpet and the company’s hardwood installation technology, Uniclic. The SmartStrand presentation is available at mohawkflooring.com.
