NEW YORK–ABC Carpet is honoring Earth Day with an exhibit featuring an assortment of limited-edition, sustainably designed rugs.
The New Shades of “Green” exhibit and sale features rugs from the Nabati Collection, Gee’s Bend Collection, Zollanvari and Woven Legends, each chosen as representative of the innovation and artistic evolution of sustainable design in the carpet industry.
The New Shades of “Green” highlights an assortment that includes vegetable dyes combined with natural materials, including handspun wool and cotton, as well as specialty weaves such as Nabati Collection’s flatweave technique, which was adapted from a remote village along the Caspian Sea.
Located on the sixth floor of ABC Carpet & Home’s Broadway location, The New Shades of “Green” exhibition and sale begins Earth Day, April 22, and is scheduled to run for two months.
