HIGH POINT, N.C.—Surya has partnered with Next Generation-NOW for its High Point party on Sunday night, a Marrakesh-themed event called “Rock the Casbah!” The party starts at 5 p.m. in Surya’s Showplace showroom.
Next Generation-NOW invites attendees to join the party and play foosball, air hockey and doubleshoot basketball with the Next Gen crew. “The Surya team is a great partner for Next Generation-NOW,” said Next Gen member Mark Mueller of Mueller Furniture. “Networking and brainstorming at High Point with successful, energetic leaders will breed positive energy and activity that young retailers can take home to their businesses.”
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to drop off their business cards and be entered to win an all-expense paid trip for two to the 2013 Home Furnishings Industry Conference, June 2-4, 2013, in New Orleans, sponsored by the group’s benefactor sponsor, Ashley Furniture Industries.
Surya has also partnered with Apartment Therapy, a leading lifestyle website focused on interior design and home decor, to provide exclusive in-depth reporting of High Point Market. As previously announced, the company will host an event at High Point Market with Apartment Therapy founder Maxwell Ryan on Sunday, April 21 at 4 p.m. Called “5 Inspirations for Small Spaces,” Ryan will share tips on creating impactful rooms where space is a key concern. Apartment Therapy will also live-tweet during the market on Twitter at @apttherapy.
