CALHOUN, Ga.–Rug and home accessories maker Surya has opened its fifth showroom in the U.S. The 5,000-square-foot showroom in Tupelo, Miss. will debut at the Tupelo Furniture Market, Aug. 16-19. With the new showroom, the company now has more than 50,000 square feet of showroom space.
In addition, the company has added a 100,000-square-foot warehouse on its campus here, bringing Surya’s warehousing capacity to 500,000 square feet. Offering more than 15,000 SKUs of products—many that ship within 72 hours of receiving the order—the company said that this added space will allow the company to stock more than $30 million of inventory for fast shipment.
“Surya’s number-one objective is to make sure our retail and designer customers have access to our products to do their jobs successfully,” said Satya Tiwari, president of Surya. “The addition of these facilities makes it easier for Surya to meet this objective. One key reason customers continue to work with us is because we listen to their needs and invest in areas that would simplify their lives.”
