NEW YORK–Sphinx by Oriental Weavers has embarked on a multiyear color partnership with Pantone. At the markets this summer, Sphinx will debut the initial Pantone Universe collection of area rugs, which will include a wide range of constructions, from machine-made synthetics to handmade natural fibers.

Pantone Universe is Pantone’s a design-led collection, which offers consumers both apparel and accessories products, such as mugs, iPhone cases and stationery.
