Continuing its expansion beyond sleep products, Sleep Innovations debuted its new Comfort Co. brand last month, a high-end line that will offer premium foam and memory foam products that are outside of the bedroom, including kitchen and bath mats, memory foam ottomans and indoor/outdoor furniture and accessories.
One of the first introductions is the Comfort Co. Anti-Fatigue kitchen mat line. Made of molded polyurethane, the mats are available in seven patterns as well as solid, and in four colors: sage, camel, brick and walnut. Aimed at relieving pressure on the lower back, legs and feet, the Comfort Co. mats are easy to clean and feature an anti-skid bottom, the company said. The line is divided into four groups: Elite and the slightly thicker Deluxe mats, Custom-Fit, which has an interlocking “puzzle piece” design so the consumer can customize it to her space, and Professional, a longer version of the Deluxe mat. They come with a limited 20-year warranty, and are stain-, mildew- and flame-resistant, and 100 percent puncture-resistant.
The new brand also includes area rugs incorporated with memory foam, in a variety of cut and loop constructions and designs including floral, solid, stripes and geometric.
Sleep Innovations first delved into the kitchen mat category last fall, when it debuted its licensed line with chef Paula Deen.
