DALTON, Ga.-Shaw has won a Bronze Anvil Award of Commendation from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for its campaign revolving around the debut of its HGTV Home Flooring by Shaw collection last year.
The campaign launched in March 2011 with an HGTV Home media preview event co-hosted by Shaw, HGTV and Sherwin-Williams. Later last year, Shaw teamed up again with Sherwin-Williams for coverage of their HGTV Home collections in local newspapers and on local television stations across the country. In addition, Shaw presented its collection to magazine editors, distributed a multimedia news release about the line to media outlets and created communications pieces that were given to members of the press.
A Shaw statement said the campaign generated “millions of media impressions.” The company was presented the Bronze Anvil Award in the Media Relations-Non-Packaged Consumer Goods category.
