DALTON, Ga.–Oriental Weavers will introduce more than 400 designs next week, including three new U.S.-made collections and two from the company’s Egyptian facilities. The company will show in its new showroom, #719 at 295 Fifth Avenue.
The made-in-the-U.S. collections include Adrienne, a machine woven of soft polypropylene with high-twist, two-tone yarns, and in shades of deep navy, warm plum, cayenne red, soft tangerine and spa blue. Also made in the U.S., Kate is a group of heat-set, machine-made area rugs reminiscent of old world vintage looks in soft, romantic shades. Carson collection is a new plush, machine-woven rug collection constructed of textured polypropylene and in a color palette of vibrant paprika, slate blue, rich brown, golden ivory and steel gray.
From Egypt, introductions include Temara, a machine-woven collection constructed with a high pile of dense, heavily textured yarns and in old world tribal patterns.
Oriental Weavers will also expand its indoor/outdoor line with the Lagos collection, which has high-low effect created by the woven cut pile and flatweave construction and in colors of deep navy, bright red, aqua blue, lime green, tangerine and citron.
The company is hosting a party on Monday, Sept. 10, from 4-7 p.m. to celebrate its new showroom. During the event, it will be giving away iPads, iTouchs, and other Apple products.
