SADDLE BROOK, N.J.-Nourison will open its new permanent showroom in New York next month, in time for Metro Market and New York Home Fashions Market. Located on the street level of the 295 Fifth Avenue building, the showroom is more than 10,000 square feet, 70 percent larger than its former location on the 14th floor. The company plans an opening event on September 20, during New York Home Fashions Market.
“Nourison has invested heavily in 2010 and 2011 to expand our product lines in categories that match today’s consumer demand,” said Alex Peykar, principal, Nourison. “We think this will vitalize our brand and give our retailers the edge they need with customers.”
The new showroom will display Nourison’s full range of products, from fine area rugs and scatter rugs to broadloom and home decorative accessories, as well as brand names such as Calvin Klein Home.
“This modern showroom at such a prime location in New York City will allow us to present our products to buyers and prospects in the region in a most attractive manner while also exhibiting Nourison’s superior design and craftsmanship to all,” Peykar said.
With its world headquarters in Saddlebrook, N.J., Nourison also has permanent showrooms in Atlanta, Las Vegas, High Point and Zurich.
