SADDLE BROOK, N.J.–Nourison will introduce five broadloom collections this month as well as additions to popular collections.
“Traditionally, we have the most new introductions during the winter/spring market,” said Alex Peykar, principal at Nourison. “We are very pleased with all our new product offerings this year. Last year, we made several strategic additions to our manufacturing facilities and machinery that has enabled us to create products that our competitors simply cannot match.”
“Our new broadloom collections reflect many years of R&D, and are some of the most groundbreaking products in the market today,” said Gerard O’Keefe, vice president of national sales for Nourison. “For example, our Nepal Collection recreates the look and feel of fine Nepalese/Tibetan-Weave wool and silk handmade rugs, while our Heavenly Collection is densely woven, and handembossed — a technique pioneered by Nourison and still unique to us in broadloom.”
The new broadloom collections include Nepal, with a textured rib effect and fine handcarving; Heavenly, which has a dense pile, abrash dye effects and handembossed design for a three dimensional look; Bukarha, a classic ikat design under the Nourtex brand; Cottage, which has striae effects and is under the Nourtex brand; Victoria, which has a classic damask and linear striae combination and is under the Nourtex brand. In addition, there will be additions to Cosmopolitan, Grand Parterre, Grand Textures and Grand Velvet.
The company will show its broadloom line at the Atlanta International Area Rug Market (in space 3F2), Surfaces (booth S6413), Las Vegas Market (Suite C112) and High Point (InterHall IH101).
