CALHOUN, Ga.–Mohawk Home has made changes to its organizational structure, naming Bart Hill senior vice president of product management for both domestic and global production in all product categories, including area rugs, bath rugs and floor mats, and Randy Gardner senior vice president of all sales, domestic and global. Both report to Rocky Casteel, who was named chief operating officer for the division in June 2013.
“We’re experiencing so many changes economically, operationally, and in the way the consumer shops—each of which affects both suppliers and retail businesses, causing us to look at and renew every aspect of our business strategy while also enabling us to give our associates the opportunity to expand their experiences and responsibilities,” said Bill Kilbride, president, Mohawk Home.
Previously, Hill was general manager for the area rug business, and Gardner was vice president of global business development. Supporting Gardner in sales are Jim Quist, Craig Trimble, Kelly Moore, and Brandon Culpepper, and each of these vice presidents are now assigned a regional, national or channel responsibility.
”One has only to read the headlines of retailing and supply chain news to see the significant opportunities present today,” Kilbride said. “These named individuals together bring over 200 years of experience in sales, product management, operations, and manufacturing with Mohawk, and this opportunity gives each a chance to continue to contribute to our growth as well as theirs amidst this dynamic period of change.”
