SUGAR VALLEY, Ga.–Mohawk Home has added YouTube.com to its online outreach program to consumers with “Our Home: Unscripted,” a group of videos focusing on three families and how Mohawk rugs fit into their homes and lifestyles. The company will add more videos in the future, focusing on such subjects as why to buy a rug pad, what’s the right-sized rug to buy and more.
“Mohawk Home enjoys the engagement with the end consumer through social media,” said Bill Kilbride, president of Mohawk Home. “Throughout our facebook and twitter accounts we have been able to reach end use consumers like never before. With the new addition of our YouTube channel we continue to be the proactive leader in our industry through technology.”
The three “Our Home: Unscripted” videos focus on empty nesters, a family with two small children and a newlywed couple. Mohawk Home outfitted their homes with Mohawk Home product to fit their individual needs. The families were then asked to video journal their experiences. “We want our customers to see what real families think about our products,” said Kilbride.
Mohawk relaunched its website (mohawkhome.com) earlier this year, and already has facebook and twitter pages.
