Warp & Weft has launched its newest designer collection, with painter and interior designer Lori Weatherly. A limited-edition offering in the company’s signature Designers’ Studio, the line includes six linear geometric solid-color patterns created through the use of different pile heights. The rugs are handknotted in Nepal in a loop and cut pile (100 knots per square inch), and then finished and washed in Switzerland.
Having worked in the interior design field for 20 years, Weatherly has worked with Warp & Weft’s president and art director Michael Mandapati on many projects over the past 10 years when Mandapati invited her to design for a new media—rugs. They are available in 8-by-10 and 9-by-12 sizes (with list prices of $10,800 and $14,580, respectively), as well as in custom sizes and colors.
