Jovi Home will base its introductions at the New York Home Fashions Market on themes, setting the scene with five stories: Timeless Spirit, Seascape, Cinematic, Urban Romance and Soul.
“Our new line is a fresh update to our collection of classic and contemporary designs for the home,” said Asmita Paliwal, director of Jovi Home, which has a showroom at 7 West 34th Street, in suite #707. “The response has been overwhelmingly positive and we are excited to continue to expand our Comfort, Luxury and Prestige collections for our customers.”
Introductions include a new woven collection called Evermore, which falls into the Soul story. Among Evermore’s styles will be Summer, a cotton item with fabric accents in stone, amber, violet and navy blue colorways; and Royal Chenille, a braided cotton chenille group in apricot, gray, beige and rust colorways. These items coordinate with products in Jovi’s throw, decorative pillow and kitchen textile categories.
Area rug introductions will include the City collection, a handtufted wool group that is in the Urban Romance story.
The rug category is about 60 percent of Jovi Home’s business, which divides product into living and bath areas. Bath is Jovi’s larger division, and includes shower curtains and bath mats. Living includes decorative pillows, throws and blankets, bedding, window panels and kitchen and dining
