ATLANTA—In its remodeled showrooms, 5-F-5 and 5-F-7 in AmericasMart’s Building 1, Ebisons Harounian Imports will also debut its first outdoor collection, called Kismet, as well as show a complete cross section of its program and one-of-a-kind goods from India, China, Pakistan, Turkey, Afghanistan, Nepal and Tibet.
Kismet is a 100 percent cotton dhurrie collection that has been treated to withstand the outdoor elements, the company said. Made in India, it comes in soft color tones and is available in 4-by-6 and 6-by-9 sizes and six patterns.
Other introductions include Vintage Oushak, an adaptation of 18th and 19th Century antique oushaks and is made of 100 percent vegetable dyed New Zealand wool; Golden Cocoon is a collection of 100 percent silk handknotted Persian design rugs and carpets; Kabul is a group of Peshawar-style carpets made of vegetable dyed, hand spun, overtwisted yarn by hand in China; and Abstract is a fashion-forward collection of contemporary designs with vibrant colors made of faux silk by hand in China.
