Though housewares no longer comes under its own heading at NY Now, its presence at the New York show (formerly called the New York International Gift Fair) is no less diminished. Eco-friendly and sustainable wood and stone products, functional and space-saving tools and gadgets, and plenty of clever and whimsical items are on offer.
Along with relaunching itself under a new brand and format, NY Now will play host to a broad selection of product introductions. The new textiles products will represent a broad spectrum of design styles, and bright colors will get strong play at the show.—David Gill
