WEST CHESTER, Pa.--Claire Watts, formerly executive vice president of merchandising at Wal-Marts, will join QVC as president of U.S. commerce. She succeeds Darlene Daggett, who is retiring.
She begins her duties on May 1, and will report to Mike George, QVC's chief executive officer.
In her new role, she will oversee planning, programming, merchandising, broadcasting, TV sales and

Watts' responsibilities at Wal-Mart included home as well as jewelry, accessories and apparel. In earlier positions, she served at Paul Harris, The Limited and Lands' End.
