Sarnoff Joins HSNi Board of Directors

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.-Ann Sarnoff, chief operating officer of BBC Worldwide Americas, has been appointed to the board of directors of multichannel retailer HSN Inc.


In her current post, Sarnoff is responsible for the BBC’s North American businesses. Prior to joining the BBC in 2010, she was president of Dow Jones Ventures and senior vice president of strategy for Dow Jones & Co. Before that, she served as chief operating officer of the Women’s National Basketball Association and chief operating officer for the VH1 and Country Music Television channels for Viacom.

Arthur Martinez, HSNi chairman, cited Sarnoff’s expertise in developing businesses and brands, along with her 20 years experience in the media and entertainment industries. Martinez also cited her “proven success as a highly accomplished leader.”
